Manage Database WSS 3.0
0If you want to manage the stand-alone (MS SQL 2005 Express Edition) database installed with WSS 3.0 take these steps:
- Install the MS SQL Express 2005 Toolkit.
- Login with an account that has management capabilities to the SQL Database.
- Start the MS SQL Server Management Studio Expres from the start menu.
- At the connect to server screen, enter “\\.\pipe\MSSQL$MICROSOFT##SSEE\sql\query” in the field server name.
- Select Windows Authentication, and connect.

Patch Windows 2003 Terminal Server to allow more than 2 concurrent sessions
0As you might know Windows 2003 Server accepts at most 2 concurrent Terminal Server sessions (and 1 console session) in Remote Administration mode (which is the default). Of course if you switch to Application Mode you can have an unlimited number of sessions but this requires licenses and a license server.

USB Tool
0USBDeview is a small utility that lists all USB devices that currently connected to your computer, as well as all USB devices that you previously used.
For each USB device, exteneded information is displayed: Device name/description, device type, serial number (for mass storage devices), the date/time that device was added, VendorID, ProductID, and more…
USBDeview also allows you to uninstall USB devices that you previously used, and disconnect USB devices that are currently connected to your computer.
You can also use USBDeview on a remote computer, as long as you login to that computer with admin user.
Windows Keyboard shortcuts
0Windows is opperated most of the time by the mouse. But in certain situations it is handy to do them by keyboard. Instaed of clicking around the screen.
I found (??, in my RRS feed) a site with 100 keyboard shortcuts for Windows.
